Order Pick-Up FAQ

How do I use the local pick-up option?

At checkout, choose Pick Up as your delivery method instead of selecting a shipping option.

Where do I pick up my order?

Our warehouse is located at 201 N Merdian St. Belle Plaine, MN 56011. Please park by the entrance on E Church Street.

How long does it take for my order to be ready?

Most orders will be ready within 2-4 business days. Please do not come to the warehouse until you have received an email notification that your order is ready.

What are the pick-up hours?

Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or Friday 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. We are closed Saturday & Sunday, as well as federal holidays. We are not able to accommodate late/early pick-ups. We reserve the right to close for unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather.

Can I come into the warehouse?

Our warehouse is not open to the public. We do not currently have a retail space or customer reception area. Please wait in your vehicle and we will bring your order out.

How do I tell you I’m here?

You will receive an email with instructions when your order is ready. Send a text to 952-373-1423 letting us know you are here. Please include your order number to expedite the process. This phone number is primarily used for order pick-ups, not customer service inquiries. Any customer service questions should be sent to customercare@northwoodcandle.com.

Is it there a fee to pick up an order?

No. You do not have to pay additional fees or pay for shipping when you select this option.

Is there a discount for selecting Pick Up?

All products are sold at the same price regardless of the delivery method chosen. You can use coupon codes or reward points, but we do not offer discounts just for using Pick Up.

Can any customer use the local pick-up option?

Yes. However, you must live locally or plan on being in the area when your order is ready. Customers outside the local area cannot use this option to avoid paying shipping fees. When you select Pick Up at checkout, you must physically come to our store to retrieve your order.

What if I chose Pick Up by mistake?

If you accidentally select this option and need your order shipped instead, please contact customercare@northwoodcandle.com. You will be invoiced for a shipping fee which must be paid before we can ship out your order.

Can I pick up part of my order and have the rest shipped?

No. The entire order needs to either be shipped or picked up together. If you want some items shipped, you must place a separate order for those items.

Can I arrange to pick up my order somewhere else?

No. You must come to our warehouse in Belle Plaine, MN.

Can someone else pick up my order for me?

We will not release your order without a confirmation email to verify the order. If you want someone to retrieve an order on your behalf, they will need to have your order confirmation email when they arrive.

Can I get Rush Processing with local pick-up?

Rush processing orders placed before 10 a.m. CST on business days can be picked up the same day – usually in the afternoon. Orders placed after 10 a.m. can be picked up the next business day. Please allow time for us to prepare your order – you will be notified by email when it is ready. If you place a Rush Processing order on a holiday or weekend, keep in mind it will not be processed until the next business day. 

How long do I have to come get my order?

We will hold orders for 14 days from the date they are ready. If you do not get your order within that time period, we reserve the right to cancel the order and charge our standard fee of $10 + 5% of the order total.
