Shipping Update - Cases of Wax

If you order cases of wax from us, we wanted to let you know about an upcoming change to our prices and shipping policies for wax cases. Due to drastically increasing UPS shipping costs for large packages, it has become necessary for us to revise our free shipping policy for cases of wax.

This policy also applies to cases of containers and select other products that are heavy/bulky to ship.

Starting 3/21/23, we will no longer offer free shipping on cases of wax. There is also good news! Changing this policy allows us to offer cases of wax at a much lower price. 

We considered the options carefully before making this decision so that we could continue to make wax as affordable as possible for our customers. Removing free shipping and lowering our prices on cases of wax was ultimately the best way to keep wax cases affordable. 

Our free shipping policy is still the same for all other products, including individual slabs of wax as well as fragrances, wicks, and other supplies. However, cases of containers are under the same policy as wax cases.

We understand that this change may not come as welcome news, but please understand that we held off making changes as long as possible and tried our best to create a policy that would keep wax as affordable as possible for you.

About this Decision 

We never like to increase costs for our customers, but sometimes it is necessary to change policies in order for us to continue running our business. We considered the options carefully before making this decision so that we could continue to make wax as affordable as possible for our customers. 

Removing free shipping and lowering our prices on cases of wax was ultimately the best way to keep wax cases affordable. Please understand that every time we change our prices, we try to make the decision that’s best for our customers. 

Will cases of wax be cheaper now? 

Yes. By removing free shipping from our cases of wax, we are also able to lower prices on cases of wax. It is our hope that the new lower prices on cases of wax will offset the amount our customers pay for UPS shipping. 

Although the cost of shipping will vary depending on where you are located, our estimates show that with lower prices on cases of wax, most customers will not see a significant change in the total amount they pay for a case of wax + shipping. Depending on where you are located, you may even save money with this policy change. With lower costs on cases of wax, local customers may ultimately end up paying less for cases of wax even with shipping charges. 

How much will I have to pay for shipping on wax? 

The cost of shipping cases of wax will vary depending on where you live. We will pass on our discounted shipping rates from UPS or USPS. Due to where we are located, customers in the Midwest area will have the lowest shipping costs. Customers on the east coast and west coast will generally have higher shipping costs compared to local customers. However, the cost of shipping can vary depending on your exact location as well as your region. 

When does this policy change and what’s affected? 

If you order cases of wax from us, starting on 3/21/23, the cost per case will be lower, but you will be responsible for paying shipping. This policy affects cases of Ceda Serica, EC-26, C55, CB2, Beeswax, and Soy Wax Flakes. It does not affect individual slabs of wax or individual bags of soy flakes (5lb and 10lb). 

Can I still get free shipping on other products? 

Yes. Our free shipping policy is still the same for all other products, including individual slabs of wax as well as fragrances, wicks, and most other supplies. As always, you will receive free shipping if your order totals $99+ (of eligible items) and ships to the continental U.S. 

Do cases of wax count towards free shipping minimums? 

Because we are no longer offering free shipping on cases of wax, your cart still needs to include $99+ of eligible items in order to receive free shipping on those eligible items. For example, if you have a $145 case of wax in your cart, you still need $99+ of other items in your cart in order for those items to ship for free. You will pay shipping for the case(s) of wax, but the other items will ship for free if you are eligible for free shipping (continental U.S.).
