Did you know you could earn reward points every time you shop with NorthWood Distributing? It’s easy to sign up for an account to start earning points! Reward points can be redeemed for discounts as well as other fun perks. We want to make sure all our customers know how to use the program, so here’s a quick tutorial that will explain everything you need to know about earning and using points.
How to Make an Account
The first step in getting reward points is to create an account on our website, NorthWoodCandleSupply.com. Simply click the My Account button at the top of the page, then click Create Your Account.
On the next screen, enter your name as well as the email address and password that you want to use while shopping with us. Finally, click Create My Account. Please write down or remember your login details so you can successfully sign in each time you shop.
Earning Reward Points
One of the best things about our rewards program is that there are several ways to earn points. These include:
- Signing up for our rewards program: 200 points
- Liking us on Facebook: 100 points
- Placing an order: 1 point for every $1 spent!
- Celebrating a birthday: 500 points
- Refer a friend: 1000 points when your friend makes a purchase
When placing an order, please remember that you will only earn reward points if you are logged into your account when you check out. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to issue reward points for orders that you placed without being logged into your account. We also cannot retroactively issue reward points for orders that you placed before signing up for our rewards program.
Because your NorthWood account will automatically log out after a period of inactivity, it’s a good idea to double check that you’re logged in each time you shop with us. That way you can always earn reward points for your purchases.
Referring a Friend
We now offer a referral program that you and your friends can benefit from! To use the referral program, click the Rewards button in the lower corner of our website and sign into your account.
Scroll down to the Refer Your Friends section and copy the URL in the box.
Finally, share this URL with your friends. They will receive a coupon code, and you will receive points after they make a purchase. You can refer as many friends as you want!*
* Referral Program Disclaimer: We hope you enjoy using this referral program! Please do not abuse the program by referring yourself (e.g. sending a referral code to your own email address). It is against our policy to refer yourself in order to receive points. We monitor our rewards program closely and reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the program.
Redeeming Your Rewards
Earning reward points is fun, but of course it’s much more enjoyable to use them! Here are the ways you can redeem your NorthWood reward points:
- 500 points: $5 off coupon
- 1,000 points: $10 off coupon
- 2,500 points: $30 off coupon
- 12,500 points: $200 off coupon
Coupons can be used towards any product on our website.
Recovering Your NorthWood Account
If you forget your password, simply click My Account and then click Recover Password. The screen will prompt you to enter the email address you used to create your account. Next, click Recover.
After entering your email, you may need to complete a captcha, which simply requires you to check a box verifying you’re not a robot. Finally, you will receive a password recovery email that allows you to reset your password.
Once you receive your recovery email, click Reset Your Password to be taken to the password reset page on our website. Enter a new password and confirm your password, then click Reset Password. You can now log into your account using your new password.
If you don’t receive a password reset email, make sure to check your Spam folder before contacting us for assistance.
Unfortunately, there is not an option for recovering an account if you have forgotten the email address you used to create the account. If you happen to forget your email, please try entering your known email addresses using the Recover Password option, then checking your inboxes for an account recovery email.
